Location and access

If you are not using your navigation ("Tübingen, Eisenbahnstraße 1") use the following route descriptions:

Coming from the motorway A8: Take the exit "Tübingen/Reutlingen" and then join the B27 towards Tübingen. Take the exit to B28. Follow the B28 for about 2km and turn rught in to Ludwigstraße and drive until you reach the conference venue "Innovationszentrum Westspitze".

Coming from the motorway A81 south: Take the exit "Rottenburg", heading towards Tübingen.  Follow the B28 to the train station Tübingen. If you have past the train station follow the Poststraße to the end and turn right into the Friedrichstraße. At the first traffic lights, turn left onto the B28 and follow this road for about 500m; turn left again into Ludwigstraße until you reach the conference venue "Innovationszentrum Westspitze".

Coming from the motorway A81 north: Take the exit Herrenberg/Tübingen and join the B28 towards Tübingen. Follow the signs "Train station" in Tübingen. If you have past the train station follow the Poststraße to the end and turn right into the Friedrichstraße. At the first traffic lights, turn left onto the B28 and follow this road for about 500m; turn left again into Ludwigstraße until you reach the conference venue "Innovationszentrum Westspitze".

Tübingen can be reached easily from any central airport or railway station in Germany. You have to change trains at Stuttgart Central Station taking the regional train to Tübingen. From Tübingen Railway Station (Europaplatz 17, 72072 Tübingen) it only takes you 15 minutes by foot.

Frankfurt International Airport
There are direct flight connections to Frankfurt from most parts of the world. From here you can either choose a connecting flight to Stuttgart Airport or alternatively take the comfortable Inter City Express (ICE) train leaving directly from the airport every hour to Stuttgart and change there to the regional train to Tübingen. Tübingen Railway Station is 1 km from the conference venue, which can be reached by foot or by taxi.

Stuttgart Airport
Stuttgart offers direct flight connection from/to many cities in Europe, however only from/to a small number of overseas airports. Most overseas connections will arrive in Frankfurt or Munich and connecting flights to Stuttgart are available. The Airport is at a convenient distance from Tübingen (35 km). There is an Airport Shuttle Bus going directly twice an hour from Airport Stuttgart to the Railway Station of Tübingen (about 1 hour). Tübingen Railway Station is at a distance of 1 km from the conference venue which can be reached by foot or by taxi. The taxi fare from the airport to Tübingen is about 50 €.
